The house, nicknamed “the Birthplace of Insulin” was the home of Sir Frederick Grant Banting (1891-1941). This landmark for medical science has several rooms that portray the era that Dr. Banting practiced in. The house includes rooms such as his office, bedroom, and a recreated operating room similar to the one that Banting working in during World War I.
